You can get all the information you need from your movers or the company that provided you with the truck.

Step-by-step Guide to Obtaining Parking Permit in Philadelphia
Step 1. Go to the Online Application Site

Step 2: Fill in the Application Form
In Applicant Information, you enter all of your contact information. You will need to enter the current address where you are registered.
In Permit Information you will enter the parking space information directly. Date, enter the address and press Β«verifyΒ». The time is specified down to the hour.
Select that the permit is for a mover's truck and then specify the length of the truck.
In the reason you briefly explain your situation and why you need a parking space. For example: moving into a new home with Philadelphia movers. In order to unload items from the truck, you need to place the mover's truck near the house, which requires a parking space.
Make sure all information is correct before submitting an application. Errors may delay the processing and approval of the application.

Step 3: Waiting
Your application will then be processed by staff. Philadelphia recommends applying at least four business days before your move, though applying earlier is strongly recommended during busy moving seasons.. A staff member will verify the information, and you will be contacted if you have any additional questions.
If there are no questions, a PDF invoice will be sent to the email address you provided.

Parking permits may take longer to process during summer months, weekends, and the beginning or end of the month when moving activity in Philadelphia is highest.
Step 4: Payment

You can complete the payment online using the payment link included in your invoice. Be sure to enter the payment number and invoice number exactly as shown.

The fee for a Moving Truck permit is $50.00 per day, per 40-foot space, in Center City and University City, and $25.00 per day, per 40-foot space, in all other areas. Note that 40 feet of space equates to two parking spaces.
Next, your payment is verified and you will be issued a truck parking permit.
Step 5: Obtaining Temporary Street Signs
Next, print your approved street parking permit and contact your local Philadelphia police district regarding temporary no-parking signage.
Depending on the district, you may either receive official temporary no-parking signs directly from the station or be instructed where to obtain approved signage.
Post the temporary no-parking signs at least 24β48 hours before moving day so the reserved curb space can be legally enforced if vehicles remain parked there.
Once your move is complete, the signs can be removed.
If your designated space is occupied despite the posted signs, please contact the nearest police station.
