How the Chicago Pickup Becomes a Charlotte Delivery

This long-distance move starts with a confirmed inventory and a workable access plan for the Chicago address. The lead mover reviews the written scope, protects the property, wraps the listed furniture, and supervises loading. Before the truck leaves, the coordinator also needs the Charlotte receiving contact, legal unloading position, and building access window. The customer must make sure the destination is approved and ready to receive the shipment.

The route covers approximately 755 miles. A passenger car may complete the drive in about 11 hours and 46 minutes, but a loaded moving truck requires a more realistic 13–14 hours of driving. That does not include loading, unloading, inspections, required breaks, or delays along the route. Planning the Charlotte Arrival
