Moving from Washington, DC to Dallas? We are a licensed and insured mover with extensive experience managing long-distance relocations between DC and Texas. Our team takes care of packing, transport, and delivery for one flat rate with no hidden costs.
We’ve completed many moves along this route and know how to organize the trip efficiently, deal with traffic, and keep everything on schedule. Most moves take about two to three days, depending on distance, weather, and load size.
Our movers regularly travel the I-81 and I-20 highways that connect DC to Dallas. We know the route, the driving conditions, and the best ways to handle long-distance deliveries. Whether your new home is in Downtown Dallas, Uptown, or surrounding cities like Plano, Irving, or Arlington, we’ll deliver your belongings safely and on time.
As a DC-based company, we’re familiar with local details like parking rules, permits, and building access. Once in Dallas, we assist with unloading in busy neighborhoods such as the Arts District and apartment complexes that require specific entry arrangements.
Each relocation is led by a crew leader with several years of long-distance moving experience. All team members are trained, background-checked, and equipped with the right tools to handle furniture, appliances, and delicate items. Our trucks include protective blankets, straps, and ramps to keep everything secure during the 1,300-mile drive.
We provide a range of moving options so you can decide how much help you need. You can choose full-service moving with packing, unpacking, and storage, or select partial assistance for specific parts of the job. Our crew can disassemble and reassemble furniture, transport items to or from storage, or arrange a shared truck to help reduce costs. Before moving day, we’ll review your items, packing requests, and any special instructions to make sure your move fits your timeline and budget.
Our pricing is simple and clear. A few stairs, small delays, or an extra stop won’t change the total cost. Only oversized or very heavy pieces, such as pianos or safes, may involve an additional charge. Basic insurance coverage is included with every move at no extra cost.
To secure your date, we ask for a small deposit. If you cancel two weeks before your move, the deposit will be refunded.
💡Moving Tip: Contact your new Dallas building before move-in day to confirm parking and elevator availability—it can help speed up the unloading process.
Dallas is one of the largest cities in Texas with strong job opportunities in business, healthcare, and technology. Areas like Uptown, Deep Ellum, and Bishop Arts offer active city living, while suburbs such as Plano, Frisco, and McKinney provide more space and highly rated schools.
The city has a wide selection of restaurants, entertainment, and sunny weather for most of the year. Many DC residents appreciate that housing and daily expenses in Dallas are generally more affordable than in the capital.
