They showed up on time They showed up on time. Incredibly polite. My husband and I barely finished packing so they were patient with us while we finished some items. They took down TVs and everything was wrapped securely. They had to deal with our power going out while moving out of a condo and still kept going. Got to the house, unloaded and we were all set. Full service, excellent help. I’d highly recommend to anyone. Thanks guys!
Ismail and his team provided an amazing… Ismail and his team provided an amazing moving service and were able to make my moving experience extremely easy despite issues with moving restrictions from both the building I moved out of and the building I moved into. They were fast and efficient, packing and unpacking everything in a little over an hour. I couldn't recommend them more and would definitely use them for my next move!
Will and his crew did an outstanding job moving our stuff recently. He let me know ahead of time when he’d be there. They wrapped everything really well. They used pads and then a sticky wrap around the pads to lock it in place for bigger items. None of our belongings were damaged. They were very generous and great at what they do. I’d highly recommend him and this company again.
This company is absolutely amazing! The best moving company I used in many years for our move. Fast and efficient, and friendly, I honest can say that the experience with this company have exceeded our expectations. Thank you! You are truly the best!
Alexandr and his crew did an amazing job! They wrapped all the furniture, they were extremely quick and very organized. They disassembled and reassembled big pieces (sofa and dining room table) and assembled a brand new bed frame as well as new barstools. I am thrilled with how easy they made the moving process for me. I highly recommend them!

Need to find movers in Raleigh, NC? WellKnown Moving Company helps people move within Raleigh and to and from Cary, Morrisville, Durham, Chapel Hill, and other nearby areas. We plan around the parts of the job that cause delays here most of the time. These include the I-440 beltline corridor, the I-40/I-440/US-1 interchange area, and the I-40 Triangle region between Raleigh, RDU, and Durham as a whole.
Moving from Raleigh isn't always as simple as going from A to B. For an apartment move in downtown, you might need to coordinate street access. For a move in Wake County's suburbs, it might depend more on HOA rules, timed loading zones, townhouse access or where to put the truck. Raleigh Parking is in charge of issuing construction parking permits, and the city's Right-of-Way Services says that Raleigh Parking is also in charge of issuing parking passes for moving vans and other similar vehicles.
Making the crossing into Durham changes how things work. If you live in downtown Durham and the apartment blocks are closer together, you may need to coordinate the right-of-way or get a permit to park on the street as a contractor. The fee schedule that Durham puts out there shows both contractor parking permits and on-street parking space permits. That's why we handle moves from the Raleigh side to the Durham side differently, even if the distance is only a short distance.
When it comes to the market near RDU, Morrisville, and the Brier Creek/RTP side, building access is more often than distance a problem. In newer apartment buildings, move-ins are often controlled by loading zone windows, service elevator bookings, truck size limits and proof of insurance. We make sure of these things before the moving day, especially for buildings near airport corridors where RDU curbside entry rules and ongoing roadwork around John Brantley Boulevard can change the schedule near Aviation Parkway and I-40 on the airport side.
In the Triangle, August is its own moving season. When people move in for the autumn, NC State uses appointments, given routes and unloading areas. Moving in at UNC-Chapel Hill needs to be scheduled through the Housing Portal. Duke gives each building its own move-in dates and temporary unloading zones. If you are moving during student move-in week and will be near Hillsborough Street, Chapel Hill, or Duke/downtown Durham, you should book and start your move earlier.
Are you moving across the Triangle, to Five Points, Oakwood, North Hills, Brier Creek, or Downtown Raleigh? We know where older homes have stairs that are narrower, where controlled buildings need dock or elevator reservations ahead of time, and how to time your route to save an hour. You can hire us to move your apartment, house or office in Raleigh. Before the truck comes, we plan the move around building rules, entry, parking and traffic.
